Data Monitor CORS Proxy
Allows the app to fetch any URL without CORS restrictions.
Not installed
Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera (all Chromium-based).
1Click Download Extension (.zip) above and save the file.
2Extract the ZIP to a permanent folder (e.g. ~/data-monitor-ext). Don't delete it afterwards.
3Open your browser and navigate to:
chrome://extensions ·
edge://extensions ·
brave://extensions ·
opera://extensions
4Enable Developer mode using the toggle in the top-right corner.
5Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
6Reload this page the extension will be detected automatically.
Firefox 113+ supports declarativeNetRequest (MV3). Two methods available below.
Temporary add-ons are removed when Firefox restarts.
1Click Download Extension (.zip) above and extract the ZIP.
2Open about:debugging in Firefox.
3Click This Firefox in the left sidebar.
4Click Load Temporary Add-on… and select the manifest.json file inside the extracted folder.
5Reload this page.
Standard Firefox does not support this.
xpinstall.signatures.required = false is locked in Firefox Release and ESR changing it has no effect. The "unverified extension" error will still appear. Permanent install requires Firefox Developer Edition or Firefox Nightly.
Permanent survives restarts. Works in Firefox Developer Edition & Nightly.
2In Firefox Dev Edition, go to about:config, accept the warning, search for xpinstall.signatures.required and set it to false.
3Download the .xpi file below:
4Drag the .xpi file into Firefox Dev Edition, or go to File → Open File and select it.
5Click Add when prompted. Reload this page.
On standard Firefox, use the Temporary (quick) method instead it doesn't require signature verification and works immediately.
Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc, Thorium, and others…
All Chromium-based. Follow the same steps as the Chrome / Edge tab the extensions URL may differ (brave://extensions, opera://extensions, etc.).
